Philly Fringe - The Initiative plus excerpts from Nightmare Returns

pillardance company presents 'The Initiative,' the company's electrifying debut performance pairing some wicked dancing with an eclectic mix of rock and roll, at the Fringe Festival this year via the Performance Garage.  The program will also include excerpts from the company's upcoming holiday show 'Nightmare Returns,' a hauntingly grotesque re-imagining of Tim Burton's classic cult movie 'The Nightmare Before Christmas.'

'The Initiative' will have pillardance introducing a series of abstract, soundtrack-driven works meant to inspire and thoroughly entertain the audience.  Edgy, innovative choreography coupled with fresh and revealing dancing makes this a show to remember.  Supporting the movement is a playlist that shines in its own right; music by artists as varied as Marilyn Manson and Bright Eyes to Fiona Apple and Slipknot create a transcendent atmosphere that accompanies you on the ride.
