Executive Intern Part-time: 16 hrs/week Philadelphia, PA
The Rock School for Dance Education, a pre-professional dance training institution based in Philadelphia, is seeking a part-time Executive Intern. This internship is for those with a strong interest in organizational development, administration, and the day-to-day operations of a busy Executive Office. Primary duties will include handling telephone and e-mail correspondence, managing calendars and scheduling, miscellaneous data entry and compiling, drafting and/or editing core organization documents. In addition to providing overall support, the intern will have the opportunity, as desired, to work closely with The Rock School team on various projects and events.
A qualified application must have excellent organization and communication skills. Strong critical thinking, written, and interpersonal skills are essential to be considered. The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and independently is also critical. A highly desired applicant will be motivated to work and learn from our organization. A passion for the arts and public service is a plus. The intern must be available to work at least 16 hours a week.
A $500 stipend for the summer is available. In addition, staff will assist the Intern in obtaining academic credit.
