Jeanne Ruddy Dance is currently accepting submissions for the School and Operations Facility Manager position.
The School and Facility Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of management of the facility including the School of Jeanne Ruddy Dance and the rental programs at the Performance Garage, under the direction of the Managing Director. This manager will work with the development and marketing departments on strategy and implementation of revenue-generating initiatives for the school and rental programs as well as monitor the school and facility operation expenses.
Responsibilities related to the School of JRD include the scheduling of classes, registration, and relations with students, parents, and teachers. Responsibilities in managing the Performance Garage include maintaining the facility calendar, orientation and booking of rehearsal and production rentals, contracts and invoicing, and overseeing facility maintenance and upkeep.
The qualified applicant will possess excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to multi-task. Bachelors degree with a minimum of two years related experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Mac, database programs and basic web creation programs a plus. Preferred experience in the performing arts, particularly dance.
