Join us for an exciting concert featuring works from the evolving genre of interdisciplinary performance art. Works integrate live performance with video, animation, movement, costuming, audio, text, etc. Students from this semester’s concert are : Chika Kosugi, Julia Hubbard, Jason Irizarry, Taylor Scott, Natala Covert, Sophie Clark, Marion Loippo, Dominic Angelella, Arianne Edmonds, and come from Film, Music, Fiber arts, Photo, Illustration, Metalworking, and Communications.
Kathy Rose Guggenheim Fellow in Performance Art. Performances of pioneering work involving dance and animation/film/video have been given throughout the U.S. and Europe including the Annenberg Center,San Francisco Butoh Festival, Philadelphia Fringe Festival, MOMA/New York, "Serious Fun” at Lincoln Center, Dance on Camera at Lincoln Center, Szene Saltzburg, Helsinki Festival, Harvard University, ICA London, Fondation Cartier/Paris ,Gulbenkian Foundation/Lisbon, Akademie die Kunst/Berlin, etc.
