The performance showcases works by seven student choreographers in a variety of genres including jazz, hip-hop and modern. The concert will also feature the premiere of new works by Dance Program Director Dr. Miriam Giguere and guest artist Megan Mazarick, recipient of the 2007 Ellen Forman Memorial Award.
In celebration of the Limón Centennial, a reconstruction of José Limón's Choreographic Offering, his tribute to teacher and mentor Doris Humphrey will be performed.
The Drexel Dance Ensemble is part of the Department of Performing Arts in the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts and Design at Drexel University.
