Dance Stories in the Everglades on June 7th, 2:00pm at the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education. Hatch asks, how can we as performers be more green? We’ll perform outdoors in a wooded amphitheater using no electricity, wearing recycled costumes, utilizing our own accompaniment with our own sound scores and employing an alternative to paper programs. Our dances include a 7 year old Hatch dancer’s poem about the watery home of the Everglade’s birds, a tree meditation, a river of grass procession and the youngest ever site-specific dance for 3-5 year olds.
