In June I am self producing my first full length dance/theater piece. Its calledPoint of no Return and I am extremely excited and inspired by it. All procedes from this evening will go directly to the dancers, so you'll be directly supporting not only my work, but the dance community in Philadelphia as well.
I am also redoing and performing the power point duet with Greg Dunn aka Insert Headset (part 2), so there's going to be lots of fun and laughter. Below is all that info in a more official way. Hope you can make it to those shows and I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback. You can always check my website. I am trying to update it often and there is a promo video of Point of no Return. www.herebegindance.com (make sure you have the sound up).

In this piece we are exploring alternative ways to engage with the audience, real human interactions between the performers and chance based choreographic structures. The spectators will experience a journey of failures, mistakes and new beginnings. The main goal of this work is to present these ideas through the lens of humor and amusement, creating a positive and therapeutic experience.
Music scores by Greg Dunn, sung by the cast. Choreography and performance by Rebecca Patek, Allison Lorenzen, Liza Clark, Gina Stickney, Christina Gesualdy, Daniele Stwarmyre. Directed by Zornitsa Stoyanova.

Insert Headset(part 2)aka The Power Point Presentation Studio 34 4522 Baltimore Ave. Philadelphia, PA
This is a piece me and Greg Dunn premiered at the Fringe Festival 2007. Because of numerous requests to bring it back, we decided to do it again, exploring the paradigms of power point presentation, dance, finding your center, and most importantly the three F's. If you are wondering what that is, you'll just have to come and see it. More information of the Studio Series you can find at www.studio34yoga.com
