Free performances featuring members of Kariamu & Co.: Traditions coming to a neighborhood near you!
The Temple-Philly "I See You!" DanceMobile is a traveling stage show that brings global dance traditions of the African and Latino diasporas to communities across the city. The concerts will feature live music and will each be approximately 45 minutes in length. The Temple-Philly "I See You!" DanceMobile is a part of the Boyer Building Better Communities Initiative and is presented by the Department of Dance in Temple University's Boyer College of Music and Dance.
There will be two 45-minute shows at each location. Performances are as follows:
July 9-Fairhill Square Park- Bounded by Lehigh Ave, Huntingdon, 4th and Lawrence Streets 3:00p.m. and 5:00 p.m. *RAIN LOCATION- Taller Puertorriqueno at 2557 North 5th Street.
July 10-North Light Community Center-175 Green Lane 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. *RAIN LOCATION- North Light Community Center Gym Space
ALL PERFORMANCES ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!!!
