Everyone that matters to hiphop in philly Party - Benefit
Friday, May 16, 2008 4:00pm - 10:30pm
Saint Joesph's Feildhouse (Basketball Stadium) City Line Ave.
This is the best exposure most people have been offered to hiphop culture! First there will be a master class taught by Moncell Durdan who has worked with everyone from Wu-Tang Clan to Will Smith. He will be answering your questions and teaching social dances, locking and basic hiphop. FREE FOOD! 7-10:30 there will be a jam (dance party) to just enjoy yourself and have a good time. YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE ANY KIND OF EXPEREINCE. The staff will include some of the best hiphop dancers in philly but it is for people with no experince and just like dancing.
All the money will go to both Indigenous Pitch and the Jessica Karrat Dance Scholorship Fund. Indigunous Pitch aides the children affected by the hurricane by providing free dance camps for them over the summer. Jess's Scholorship Fund is in honor of a dancer who passed away and provides money to dedicated dancers to continue doing what they love.
YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS OUT ON THIS EVENT!
