PAID Internships June 1 - Sept 14 (will consider Sept 1), FT 40 hrs/wk Philadelphia Live Arts Festival & Philly Fringe
The Philadelphia Live Arts Festival & Philly Fringe presents a 16-day, annual festival of new and innovative performing art. www.livearts-fringe.org. We are seeking to fill two PAID internship positions: Programming Intern and a Development Intern. Each internship is funded by a $3000 stipend provided by the Wallace Foundation, for 2 FT positions from June 1 through the festival.
DEVELOPMENT intern will help to secure funding, maintain database, assist with special events, research prospective donors, and communicate with stakeholders and supporters. Qualifications: strong writing skills, enthusiastic, independent, computer savvy, detail oriented; prefer English or Arts Admin background.
PROGRAMMING intern will assist with artists travel and housing, artist contracts, show venues, show programs, special event planning, database maintenance, and other admin duties. Qualifications: previous events coordination experience, independent, self-starter, detail oriented.
