ZoomDance is a high-energy class of dance, music, and imagination. Over the course of the session, children will develop agility, coordination, rhythm, and balance. There is an emphasis on creative play and building confidence through songs, stories, and performance. For part of the class each week we'll read a story and explore the movement and adventures of the characters.
AGES & CLASS TIME: 3-5 years, Wednesdays 10:30am I will soon be adding classes for kids 18 months - 2 years, and 4 - 6 years. Please email me if you want to be updated when those begin.
SESSION: Summer session starts Wednesday June 11th, and runs for 10 weeks through August 13th. Cost is $112 for the entire session.
LOCATION: The Arts Parlor 1170 S. Broad Street (near intersection with Federal St.) Philadelphia, PA

ABOUT THE TEACHER: Sarah Gladwin Camp teaches all ZoomDance classes. She has taught children's dance, music, drama, and acrobatics at Philadelphia School for the Deaf, Children's Dance Festival in Poland, Creative Movements and PollyAnna Theatre in London, and now in New Jersey and Philadelphia. Her dance life began at Swarthmore College and continued at Laban School for Contemporary Dance in London. She is currently a professional dancer and choreographer working on several projects in Philly, and is co-artistic director of Green Chair Dance Group.
