Ballet's not just for kids and pros. It's time for you to step up to the barre!
Challenge your mind and stretch your body in our adult ballet classes! Our expert instructor, Beverly Holskin, brings more than 20 years of experience teaching classical ballet to our beginner-friendly program. Unlike many of Philly Dance Fitness' other classes that use dance as a fun vehicle for cardio conditioning, you will have the opportunity to work on technique – and some serious lower body strength – in ballet.
Wondering whether Absolute Beginner or Advanced Beginner is right for you? Sign up for the Absolute Beginner session if you've never done ballet before, you can't really remember what you learned way back when or your canvas slippers have turned a different color from decades of sitting in your closet. If you've got some ballet experience under your belt, contact us to find out whether the Advanced Beginner section is right for you. Or, drop in one time and see how you feel. The barre purposefully limits the size of the class so our instructor can give individual attention to everyone. If you need an extra challenge – she'll give it to you!
